Days were spent relaxing with books on the terrace when the heat got too much. With wine and cheese of course... it is a holiday after all.
Every night we barbecued on our terrace and had long, drawn out dinners with bottles of wine, good conversation and the occasional board game. These tuna steaks were my favourite - marinated in chili, garlic and lime and thrown on the barbie just long enough for the outside to cook and the middle to stay nice and pink and delicious. Mmm.
All in all, it was an incredibly relaxing, refreshing holiday. Oh, until this happened:
